Cube Swarm was the result of my exploration of transforming along the Z-axis in WEBGL. In Processing, I played with several formations of 3D box objects that transformed with a mouse-position input before deciding on mapping the position to boxes' rotation degree. I also used that same value to control the depth of the boxes to produce a continuously churning swarm.
